The client, an online retail startup, had made its bones and proven itself respectively and received the venture capital funding in order to get serious, structured, and scale the business. There was the need to define a corporate target operating model for the company, as well as a design and end-to-end work-flow management integration for order-to-cash. But while professionals in fashion design and sales, the founding team lacked general business competency. From conceptual planning, to project management, to hiring and leading teams.
Solution
- LMC accompanied the company founders, acting as general board advisor in a series of matters plus, in a rather guiding/ moderating approach, developed the new target operating model together with the founders. In addition, designed the complete O2C process value chain and managed the project for implementation.
